Mike’s third album followed
on in early 2006,
and was an instant hit.
Great Spirit Told Me
has been described as
“one of the best
spiritual albums ever”.
In January 2006, the horror writer G P Taylor ‘s series
UNINVITED GUESTS was in the final stages
of production. Mike and the rest of the staff from VISION
magazine were the subject of one episode.
By early 2006 Mike had become a regular
guest on BBC Radio Newcastle’s Mike Parr
Show.
During live phone-in debates Mike offers his
thoughts on politics, current affairs, the
paranormal and just about anything that
takes his fancy, really.
In December 2005, Mike collapsed with an
undiagnosed heart condition which came very
close to killing him. His heart stopped for some
time, and it was only due to skill of the nursing
staff and surgeons that he was brought back.
Almost immediately after his recovery Mike wrote
Up his experiences in book form, explaining how
they had changed completely his views about
life after death.

by Flying Witch Publications in November 2008.
Mike was delighted when, in the summer of
2006, horror writer Paul Cave asked him to write
the foreword to his latest novel Cold Light of
Day.
In October of 2006,
Magonia magazine
published an article by
Mike entitled Invizikids -
All about the fascinating
enigma of “imaginary”
childhood friends...
Since 2004, Mike had been both co-
authoring and editing The Destiny Doctors
column in VISION magazine. His original
co-columnist had been the psychic and
Medium Anna Kaye, but she was
later replaced by Dave Brennan.
In 2006 The Destiny Doctors came to an
end and Mike was offered his own
column about Native American
spirituality called The Medicine Man.
The column is still running and has
proved to be hugely popular.
In December 2006,Northeastern Films
began shooting On Sacred Ground,
a biographical film about Mike and his
Native American heritage.
In 2007, the Centre for Fortean Zoology announced that
their publishing arm, the CFZ Press, was to publish Order
of the Dragon, a book which had been co-authored by
Mike, Jonathan Downes and Richard Freeman.
The book is the true account of a dragon-centred cult in
the north-east of England.

In April 2006, Sutton Publishing contracted Mike
and Darren W. Ritson for the publication of their
book The South Shields Poltergeist.
In July 2007 Mike and Darren W. Ritson were asked to web-edit the paranormal section of
the Life Media company’s website.
The site will feature breaking news about paranormal stories, features, articles and services.
At the time of writing the pages are still under construction.
In August 2007, Heart of Albion Press
published Mike’s latest book INVIZIKIDS,
a close look at the curious enigma of
“imaginary” childhood friends.
In the summer of 2007, Mike struck up a
relationship with Pulse Talk Radio
and began to guest on their late night
show.
Talk, quite naturally, was about the
paranormal and all manner of spooky
stuff...
August 2007 saw Mike with a new column -
WraithRealm, in the pages of The Haunted
Realm magazine.
December saw Mike & Darren in the studio with BBC presenter Jonathan Miles
To talk about their forthcoming book The South Shields Poltergeist.
