4-5 05 2007	VISION SHOWCASE	Mike attended the annual VISION SHOWCASE event at Derby, which was preceded by a dinner dance at the prestigious Risley Hall hotel. Guests were entertained by top comedian Austin Knight, who was absolutely hilarious. You can find Austin’s website at http://www.comedian.ws/ Mike won a VISION writer’s award, and was presented with it by Sammi Addey, the magazine’s Executive Editor.
14 04 2007	DIABETES UK EVENT	Mike and Darren W. Ritson attended an overnight vigil at Chillingham Castle as representatives of VISION magazine. The event, sponsored by Diabetes UK and organised by Most Haunted Ghost Tours, was to raise money for diabetes research. The event was a fantastic success and over £13,500 was raised.
