Mike Hallowell was born in South Shields, England, in May 1957. He has been married to his wife Jackie
for over 30 years, and has three sons and two grandsons.
   
Mike was born in England to English parents, but has Native American heritage on the paternal side of
his family.  He takes the spiritual and cultural side of this heritage very seriously.
    
Mike has spent decades in the media business. He has had a number of books published, currently
runs several columns in newspapers and magazines and has had well over one thousand articles and
features published over the years.
   
Mike regularly appears on TV and radio. He has starred in a number of documentaries and TV series
both in the UK and abroad.
   
As well as writing books and articles, and appearing before the cameras, Mike has penned scripts for
plays, stage plays and documentaries. He has also released a number of acclaimed CDs of traditional
Indian music.
   
In 2005 Mike launched his own business - Thunderbird Craft & Media - to take his career to another
level.
   
Thunderbird Craft & Media provides a large number of services to media professionals and freelance
writers, including copy writing, syndication, research,  idea-proofing, investigation, photo restoration,
Image enhancement, cover design and illustration.
