Using modern, sophisticated imaging software it is possible to breathe new life into almost
any photograph - no matter how badly damaged or degraded it is.
Once a photograph is printed it begins to degrade. It may also be subjected to involuntary
damage - cigarette burns, coffee stains and leeching of colour due to the effects of sunlight.
You’d also be surprised how many photographs are deliberately damaged - torn in half in a
fit of pique when two people fall out and one of them wants the other quite literally “taken
out of the picture!”
